UT Austin presents Longhorn Lights
The University of Texas at Austin invites visitors to campus for a dazzling display of holiday cheer. Guests can drive or walk by the display along Guadalupe Street, which features 400,000 sparkling burnt orange and white lights. The display will dance along in synchronization with iconic school songs such as “The Eyes of Texas,” “Texas Fight,” “March Grandioso,” and more. Longhorn Lights is open through January 1, 2025, and is free to attend.
City of Round Rock Arts and Culture presents Beaujolais Nights
Venture to the nearby city of Round Rock for an adults-only evening of wine, live music, and French-inspired revelry. Visitors to Downtown Round Rock can enjoy aerial dance performances, photo booth opportunities, food offerings from downtown area restaurants, wine tastings, art exhibits, face painting, balloon artists, jugglers, and more. This event is for adults 21 and over. Admission is free.
Moody Center presents Little Big Town in concert with Sugarland
Country music groups Little Big Town and Sugarland come to Moody Center as part of their Take Me Home Tour. The show is named for the two bands’ new collaborative single, "Take Me Home.” The Castellows will perform as the opening act.
Austin PBS presents Austin City Limits Celebrates 50 Years
Austin City Limits brings a variety of musical stars to the stage in celebration of the iconic show’s 50th anniversary. The lineup includes performances by Leon Bridges, Gary Clark Jr. with Eve Monsees, Indigo Girls, Lyle Lovett, The Mavericks, Ángela Aguilar, and more. Other highlights include co-hosts Jared and Genevieve Padalecki and appearances by Trio Los Panchos and Austin’s Tosca String Quartet. A limited number of tickets are available.

Great Promise for American Indians presents The 31st Annual Austin Powwow
Experience and celebrate the richness of Native culture at the Travis County Exposition Center. Austin Powwow highlights include performances by Native dancers and singers from across the country, a Native market, traditional food offerings, and more family-friendly activities. Lewis Black: Goodbye Yeller Brick Road, The Final Tour
Comedian Lewis Black brings his stand-up comedy talents to the Austin City Limits Live stage for the final tour of his decades-long career. He’s currently the host of his podcast, RantCast, and is well known for his role as the voice of Anger in the Inside Out animated film franchise. Fans can expect Black’s material to include his trademark style of yelling and finger-pointing, which he uses to illuminate the hypocrisies and absurdities he sees in the world.
