After an almost 3-year hiatus, Fashion Freakout returned to Hotel Vegas on Saturday, October 18 for its sixth installment.
In a departure from the stagnant shows that tend to permeate the Austin fashion scene, Fashion Freakout — which was started by the owners of Prototype Vintage — features vintage styling from local boutiques. Pair that with kooky host Ian Svenonius and a wild rock and roll performance from Warm Soda and you've got a fashion show that is truly Austin.
This year the fashion show featured vintage duds from Prototype Vintage, Charm School Vintage and Feathers Boutique. Avant Salon provided hair and makeup to round out the truly fabulous looks.
