Airport Dining
Austin's favorite restaurants fly into ABIA with new locations

The Austin airport news is nonstop. On the heels of a bevy of new flight announcements, Austin-Bergstrom International Airport is welcoming a slew of popular local eateries to the mix.
Austin-based Berry Austin Frozen Yogurt, Departure Lounge, JuiceLand, and the Peached Tortilla will join ABIA's East Food Court, located across from Gates 7 and 8 in the Barbara Jordan Terminal. Also landing at the East Food Court: fast-casual salad chain Mad Greens. Renovations will begin later this year.
Plans call for the addition of Flyrite Chicken, Hat Creek Burger Company, and Mandola's Italian Kitchen at the West Food Court, near Gate 18, which will undergo renovations in early 2018. The existing Amy's Ice Creams outpost will get some updates too.
Hut's Hamburgers and Tacodeli are also slated to open at ABIA; the exact locations and opening dates have not been revealed.
The openings are part of a major revamp at the airport. Restaurant and retail concepts that are already in the works include Second Bar + Kitchen, Ivini's Italian, Tyler's, Austin Warehouse, and the Austin Article; Salt Lick Bar-B-Que is also expanding its footprint at ABIA.
Earlier this year ABIA welcomed the new open-air South Terminal, Bark&Zoom pet hotel and parking complex, and Hyatt Place Austin Airport.
Additionally, ABIA is constructing a new cellphone lot with a 4,500-square-foot convenience store and an additional 9,750 square feet for restaurant and retail offerings. Amenities will include public restrooms, gas pumps, charging stations for electric vehicles, and a playground.
