San Antonio's Mala Luna Music Festival rises again with jam-packed weekend of fun

Feeling blue now that ACL Music Festival is over? San Antonio has the cure for what ails you: Mala Luna Music Festival.
San Antonio's largest musical event takes place October 26-27 and features a stacked lineup including headliners Russ, Miguel, YG, and Rick Ross on Saturday, October 26, and Diplo, Juice Wrld, Trippie Redd, and YB on Sunday, October 27.
Also scheduled are Playboi Carti; Smino; DaniLeigh; Melii; and Houston-born Megan Thee Stallion, who made headlines a few weeks ago after failing to show up for her appearance at ACL Fest.
Mala Luna takes over the Nelson Wolff Stadium parking lot in downtown San Antonio each day around 12:45 pm with 14 musical acts performing across two stages. The full Saturday and Sunday schedule can be found here under set times.
In between sets, fans can take part in outdoor games, watch Halloween-themed movies in the tent, play a round in the gaming tent, or cool off in the misting area.
The grounds will also have roaming Dia de los Muertos performers and an altar dedicated to recently deceased artists like Nipsey Hustle and Mac Miller. San Antonio artists Nike Soupé, Paul Garson, and Tyler Kay will also create live art installations.
And since it can't be a South Texas party without killer grub, Mala Luna is rolling in 17 food trucks, ranging from tacos and pizza to barbecue and grilled cheese.
VIP ticket holders will also have access to all the above, as well as a Drip Drive hydration and oxygen bar with IV vitamin therapy, B12 shots, and an oxygen bar; barber services; hookah lounge; massages; and a photo booth.
Weekend and single-day passes are now available beginning at $89, while customized VIP packages range from $209-$399. To purchase tickets, head here.
Regardless of ticket package, everyone can join Mala Luna at Midnight Swim on October 25 for the official preview party. The party is free and all ages, but registration is required.
