What's Happening?
Cast of cult favorite Office Space reuniting for upcoming Austin film awards

The Texas Film Awards has already released a dynamite 2019 lineup, one that includes Brooklyn Decker among its recipients. On February 14, the Austin Film Society released this year's special guests and presenters, and let's just say, "What's happening?"
Get out those red staplers because stars of Office Space, the cult film shot in Austin and Dallas, are reuniting for the ceremony. Ron Livingston, Gary Cole, and David Herman are all scheduled to attend the awards, which coincides with the film's 20th anniversary.
Also announced was Academy Award winner Kathy Bates, who will honor John Lee Hancock, the Texas-born filmmaker who has served as Bates' longtime collaborator.
Like Bates, June Diane Raphael is attending the awards in honor of her Grace and Frankie co-star Brooklyn Decker. Decker was previously announced as the recipient of this year's Texas Film Awards' Rising Star.
Comedian and podcast star Marc Maron will take a starring role in the ceremony, serving as the evening's co-emcee along with writer/actor/director Lynn Shelton. Shelton will stay in town for SXSW and the premiere of her latest film, Sword of Trust, which (surprise!) co-stars Maron.
The event, one of the highlights of Austin's film community every year, takes place March 7, serving as a sort of unofficial kickoff to SXSW.
Festivities for the 2019 Texas Film Awards begin at 6 pm with cocktails and a red carpet ceremony. The show begins at 7:30 pm inside the AFS Cinema theater.
