Elisabet Ney Museum presents Leslie Kell: “Different Worlds” opening reception
Artist Leslie Kell’s newest work makes its debut at the Elisabet Ney Museum. This solo exhibition uses distortion and prismatic effects on photography, creating otherworldly pieces. Among the highlights is a custom triptych created to commemorate the museum’s rich history. Following the opening, the exhibit will be on display through September 1.
TexARTS Professional Series presents Annie
The beloved story of the charming little orphan girl searching for a family comes to life at the TexARTS Kam and James Morris Theater. Based on the book by Thomas Meehan, Annie is a family-friendly musical that shares the importance of positivity, perseverance, and love. Performances through August 4.
Blink-182 and Lil Wayne in concert
Blink-182 and Lil Wayne join forces for a genre-bending, co-headlining show at the Austin360 Amphitheater as part of their nationwide summer tour. Grammy Award-winning rapper Lil Wayne hits the stage in support of his 2018 album, Tha Carter V. Meanwhile, pop-punk stars Blink-182 will be performing songs from their upcoming album as well as playing their pivotal album Enema of the State from start to finish.
