Fusebox Festival
A fusion of performances, installations, and other events blend together across 19 venues in the ATX. This year’s Fusebox Festival is a five-day experience features an array of international artists and companies including Verdensteatret, Manuela Infante, Jaamil Olawale Kosoko, and Austin-based talents Graham Reynolds and Rolling Ryot. ZACH Theatre presents Matilda the Musical
The story of an extraordinary little girl with a love of books comes to the ZACH Theatre. Matilda features all of the beloved characters from the popular children's novel turned blockbuster film on stage for a production that fans of all ages can enjoy. Become reacquainted with everyone’s favorite teacher, Miss Honey; the tyrannical headmistress; and, of course, the bright young heroine, Matilda, in this Dennis Kelly adaptation. Performances through May 12.

Texas Whiskey Festival
The spirit(s) of Texas take center stage at Star Hill Ranch this weekend. Whiskey enthusiasts can enjoy live music by country music artist Radney Foste while tasting master blenders and distillers. Participating Texas companies include Yellow Rose Distilling, Still Austin Whiskey Co., Balcones Distilling, Lone Elm Whiskey, Iron Wolf Ranch and Distillery, Treaty Oak Distilling, and many others. Chelsea Handler: Life Will Be the Death of Me
Comedian, actor, and writer Chelsea Handler comes to Austin as part of her nationwide book tour, Life Will Be the Death of Me: Chelsea Handler’s Sit-Down Comedy Tour. Known for her stint as a late-night talk show host on E!'s Chelsea Lately, the entertainer reveals a more intimate side during the Moody Theater show. Handler will discuss stories from her book and share personal stories for one raw and hilarious evening.
