Presented by the Department of Theatre and Dance, the award-winning ensemble Dance Repertory Theatre returns to the stage in Fall For Dance, a collection of vibrant and captivating works by nationally renowned choreographers. A highlight of the concert includes Promenade by Robert Battle, Artistic Director of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater. Set to John Mackey’s discordant score, Battle’s modern dance pairs couples in a social dance of juxtaposition, moving between formality and primitivism.
Dance Repertory Theatre enchanted full houses last spring in the critically acclaimed concert Catalyst. Fall For Dance is a performance not to be missed!
