Do you love beer? Do you also love jelly beans? Well, you're in luck.

Jelly Belly has just debuted a draft beer-flavored jelly bean, and according to the company, the flavor is Hefeweizen inspired.

"This took about three years to perfect," Ambrose Lee, research and development manager for Jelly Belly said in a statement. "The recipe includes top secret ingredients, but I can tell you it contains no alcohol."

Do you love beer? Do you also love jelly beans? Well you're in luck.

The development of the beer flavor was particularly difficult as the flavor team hoped to capture the different elements of beer while avoiding the accompanying bitterness, Jelly Belly's director of communications Tomi Holt told USA Today.

"First, we tried to work on matching the hops. Then we worked on the yeast flavor," Lee said in a video on Jelly Bean's website.

The beer-flavored jelly beans are just one of more than 100 flavors offered by the candy company, including less palatable options like black pepper, sausage and even vomit (I promise it's real).

The question remains: Are you willing to try the new beer-flavored jelly beans? You might surprise yourself. They are jelly beans.
