An Elite Event
Austin's top-producing luxury realtors revealed at Elite 25 party
Clarksville's Josephine House provided the perfect backdrop for an exclusive cocktail reception on Wednesday evening, when the Austin Elite 25sm welcomed its 2014 members. Austin's top luxury real estate agents — 35 real estate agents in total — mixed, mingled and celebrated an impressive record-breaking milestone for the group. As a whole, the members produced over $1 billion in Austin real estate transactions in 2013, an accomplishment that comes in tandem with the group's 20th anniversary.
The members produced over $1 billion in Austin real estate transactions in 2013, an accomplishment that comes in tandem with the group's 20th anniversary.
Tony Trungale of PrimeLending, who served as host for the Austin Elite 25sm Advisory Board, welcomed new and returning members to the elite club, all of whom were required to meet an impressive selection of criteria.
To qualify for 2014 membership, real estate agents — who must reapply for the group each year — were selected based on their total number of residential property sales transactions valued over $1 million. At a minimum, agents were required to have over $7 million in sales for 2013, with at least two sales of more than $1 million and one over $500,000.
Many agents went above and beyond the $1 million minimum. A few of the new members shared successful listings from 2013. "My highest sale was over $2 million. But what I really love about this sale is that the owners grew up a street over from me as a child in Austin," said Anna Lee of Tate Property. "I have known this family for many, many years and enjoyed how our friendship and family relationships turned into a business transaction as well."
Gary Dolch of Austin Luxury Group shared an impressive $10,900,000 listing from early 2013. "We sold the property within two months of taking the listing," Dolsch said.
While the top-tier agents have likely competed with each other in the past, the group breeds a special camaraderie among its members. "It is not uncommon for our members to announce a buyer need that is immediately met by another member attending one of our monthly luncheons," said Trungale. "I am constantly reminded that all of the networking and co-branding that the Elite 25sm provides to its members is invaluable for listing meetings and the branding of our luxury realtors."
